Wishing I had more time to do more blogging this summer! June flew by! Allie got done with 8th grade, went to EFY for the first time and had a great experience. She drove up with the Moyers and roomed with her good friend Izzy. It was fun to receive random texts about how much fun she was having.
Kevin went up to Provo to clean out our sheds and turned over the keys to the buyers of our home up there - timed it so that he could pick Allie up from EFY. It was a sad goodbye (to our house) for Mr. Sentimental, but we are both glad that we don't have to be out-of-state rental/vacation house owners anymore!
Kevin "ran into" Allie while at our old stomping grounds, and spotted her cousin Dallin who was also up there at EFY. She got to meet lots of very nice boys who held doors open and treated her like a queen. She danced and had the best time! She is so excited to get to go again next year!

Webelos Camp at Geronimo
Early in June, Kevin took Collin on an overnighter at Camp Geronimo so that Collin could pass off a bunch of achievements in one trip. They had lots of fun too - although Collin didn't like the A-frame looking tents and how old they were and how they stunk like an old thing. He passed off quite a few things, and learned a lot.

Maddie decided one day to fix up Zane's hair. She had no idea he looked like Alfalfa. Zane thought it was the best!
Then there was Father's Day. We celebrated with a yummy Sunday Dinner with the Harris and Merrills. I am super lucky to be married to this man who works super hard so we could have a good life, and is so intelligent and good at what he does, and staying super humble while accomplishing much. I couldn't have picked a better husband and father for my kids.
Maddie made him a TON of cards and packaged it in a big yellow envelope. I think it was the best present ever!
Allie's 14th Birthday
Mason at 18 months - loves to get himself dressed. He gets frustrated once in a while when he can't quite figure out where his legs go! He started nursery too this month, and didn't have any issues going in. I didn't get to take him there since I had to set up in Primary, but Kevin did and said Mason just went in and never even looked back. Once I was done conducting in Primary, I peeked in the window and saw him sitting in a chair with his feet up on the table eating his snack, just chilling out. I am glad he loves it already. 
He loves my silky shirts, my only one who does this! He just loves to carry them around, and put them up to his face and snuggle with them. He will randomly pull one of my silky shirts from a hanger in my closet and walk around with it. So funny!
First part of June we said goodbye to Chad, Megan and the Harris boys - we will miss having them around for family things and dinners! We tried not to cry, but my pregnancy hormones didn't help! At least we got a couple fun photos.
Mason is also obsessed with putting on shoes!
And vaccuuming. He loves cleaning.

My parents came and visited us, though only for 3 days! Crazy, I know, but I have 5 other siblings, 2 weeks of vacation doesn't go very far when you have that many to go and visit.
My dad got his exercise and more when he was here chasing Mason everywhere he went. The best part is that he actually loved it and wanted to chase him because Mason thought it was funny.
Mason stole the pacifier we bought for the new baby. and some goggles. I found him like this. So funny!
Collin and Kevin went to K1 Speed one day for a belated half birthday date that Kevin was out of town for in April. Sadly it took til June for plans to materialize since Kevin is out of town a lot. His summer was filled with play dates, and RC car and scooter upgrages/repairs which I am impressed about. It really kept him busy! Between that and working on his cub scout achievements, the summer flew by for him!
While Kevin traveled to New Mexico for work, I got busy at home. Nesting. Oh, also Kevin got a nice, bigger, new office with nicer furniture. It was time. Of course I haven't been over there to decorate a little, which he says is just fine, since it's not necessary (in his last office, he printed pictures on paper! Eek. Definitely need to go over and see what he's got).
Between me and my two super helpers, Allie and Collin, we successfully reorganized and finished 5 rooms this summer - all the kids' rooms (4) plus the office. Allie took on the painting of all the rooms and earned extra school clothes money this way. Collin helped me take apart and put together beds and hang up things for me. Such a good little handyman! I even got lucky this summer and found the bed I wanted for our master bedroom! Now we are noticing all the painting needs redone in the house - and Collin took on touching up the baseboards. We got a couple of bids to repaint all the common areas, and decided we were too cheap to pay the price, so we gave the job to Allie instead. All of June she painted and did a SUPER GOOD JOB. I am glad I went with her instead!
We missed all this organization projects last year since we were gone for a month in Utah. We got rid of alot, and made really good use of storage in our house (although we need more!!!). It's nice to know now how much more room we will need in our new house. So Allie moved downstairs to the guest room, Collin moved to Maddie's old room, Maddie took over Allie's old room, and Mason and Zane will share Collin's old room. I am keeping Mason in the nursery for now, until our new baby is ready to move from our room to her own room. I am excited to start redecorating the nursery, but I guess it can wait until close to Christmas!
