May was a month full of school concerts and programs - but we were all excited for an early summer to start. I did preschool graduation around the time the kids were done with school - the middle of May. So here goes:
Collin's spring and end of year concert
These three have pretty much grown up together and have gone to school together! They are good boys and love them! (Collin with Cameron and Ethan)
Collin mowed the lawn for the first time and did pretty well! He will take over the mowing chore!
Mason being silly - he loves trying on Maddie's helmet.
Maddie helping me in the kitchen. She loves making treats and baking, she is going to make a wonderful cook someday!

Mother's day was great! Love this photo of my girls (ha! even the one in the belly!) and me.
Funny that this looks like NOT much at first - until you count how many children are in the photo!
And...I always have to take one of my handsome husband (yes he looks just the same as he did when I married him! and has gotten even more handsome over the years!)
I caught Mason in the laundry room in the laundry basket playing quietly for quite some time.
Allie's end of year / spring concert. Their choir (this is one of 4) sang selections from the Wizard of Oz. She also danced with a few girls for one of the songs. But what was really cool about this program was that she accompanied one of the choirs on the piano. She played the Phantom of the Opera medley, which she did perfectly! I wish I could play like her. She loves the piano and doesn't get nervous like me. It's like second nature to her.
and yes, I have to have these photos after the concert!
Grandma Lorraine came and watched Allie play. That was a long concert and hopefully next year it won't be so long!
I invested in a giant water slide for the kids to use in the summer - this was when Megan and Chad came into town for the last time before their move to Indiana. Owen cracks me up in the back there. The slide has paid for itself I think with how much use it has gotten this year so far and will get next summer!
While Megan was in town, us girls planned a surprise 60th birthday party for Grandma Lorraine! She came to dinner bringing her hotdogs and macaroni salad. We totally got her. She had no idea. It was great!

This is how Mason spent his mornings in May - it was still pretty cool outside in the mornings, so he would go out and ride the jeep.
We got the slide out pretty much every day since we got it.
Mason's favorite toy - the pig puppet that Allie got at Thanksgiving Point years ago when she was just 4. He loves to give this puppet to me and have it "talk" to him and tickle him.
This was the first time we irrigated our lot. I was lucky to be the first to do it since it was during the day when Kevin was at work - luckily Autumn (our neighbor on the south of Kesler) was nice to show me the ropes and shut it off for me after the 2 hours was up. Mason and Zane had so much fun running around the lot - we even lost Mason's new flip flops to irrigation that day! We are so excited to have this beautiful piece of property to build our homestead next year!
Fathers and Sons campout in our ward fell in May also - this was the only photo I got, Kevin has a ton more that he took on his phone. Someday I will remember to put them here! They went up Diamond Fork canyon and had so much fun. They took up their traditional Chipotle dinner that night, then came home bright and early the next day.
Collin finally used his free dish night coupon that I gave him on Valentines Day when he saw the sink was overflowing with dishes on his dish night.
Mason loves his baths, and Zane always tries to be helpful. I caught him washing Mason's hair this one day. Too cute!
Maddie is good at texting - usually she texts her Grandma and aunts. This is a typical text message she would send out. So funny!
Mother's day post on Instagram - Kevin made me breakfast in bed. He is not used to making big breakfasts, but he made the special effort to do it - eggo waffles, fruit and chocolate dipped strawberries (???) and all.
Scrounge! Mason knows where we keep the food and just goes in the pantry and grabs a bag of cereal to eat. This one is of him picking out the marshmallows out of the Lucky Charms bag.
Allie found out she made varsity cheer for her freshman year at BFHS, So many girls tried out so she was nervous. I wasn't.

More slide photos, and my dad on his birthday via Skype. He turned 67 this year!
Then...before school was out, Allie went on a school trip to Disneyland. Kevin and I were nervous for her to go, and lots of prayers were said. We obviously are new to the whole raising a teenager thing! Kevin was more worried than I was, telling her the charter buses were death traps, even showed us news reports of when these charter buses crashed and all - nothing like news to make you a nervous wreck! Anyway I took her at midnight, and they finally left at 12:30. Lucky she was good at keeping us up to date during her trip. She didn't want to take a camera with her so no photos except for one (that is now deleted off her instagram account).
