Every year we all look forward to spending the 4th in Utah. Provo is the best place to go for the 4ht of July, in our opinion, and even without the Stadium of Fire on our list of things to do this year, our trip was so fun and relaxing. It was hard to come back home! Luckily it was overcast and a little bit cooler when we rolled into town so we weren't shocked. :)
July 1st - Spent 11 hours driving and arrived in Utah in time for dinner and spending time with Andrea, Aireen, and Danny. The baby didn't do so well the first two hours, then fell asleep for a few hours. He was fine until we were half an hour away. By that time he was done and wouldn't quit crying. I was so glad for him to be out of his car seat - poor baby! The kids were so excited to get to run around for a while at the house before crashing for the night at the Provo Marriott.
Zane thought his bed was so cool! This was the very first time he's ever been in a porta crib. We were glad to see he thought it was fun. He just kept feeling the sides and taking the sheet off the mattress.
July 2nd - Family BBQ at Danny and Aireen's, and fireworks at the temple grounds with Chad and Megan.
Jake made the yummiest homemade rootbeer with the kids.
